Short bio & CV
Maria de Montmollin is a physician and clinical researcher. Her particular interests are subclinical hypothyroidism and hypercholesterolemia. After she concluded her studies and research at the Warsaw Medical University in Poland in 2014, she began her clinical training in general internal medicine in Switzerland in Hospital Aarberg. Since 2016, she is working at the Inselspital, University Hospital of Bern. In 2019, she obtained a Beginner Grant in the “Young Talents in Clinical Research” funding program from Swiss Academy of Medical Sciance and the Gottfried und Julia Bangerter- Rhyner Foundation for the project: “Does Achilles tendon ultrasound help to diagnose familial hypercholesterolemia”, which she is currently conducting, supervised by Prof. Nicolas Rodondi.
