Dr. sc. med. Aljoscha Goetschi joined the Institute for Primary Health Care (BIHAM) as a postdoctoral researcher in January 2026. He received his federal diploma as a pharmacist from ETH Zurich in 2022 and completed postgraduate training in clinical pharmacy at the University of Tübingen, Germany (2024) and the University of Basel (2025). He earned his PhD in Health Sciences (Pharmacy) at the University Hospital Bern, where his research focused on developing a clinical pharmacy intervention for older adult inpatients with chronic non-cancer pain and evaluating patterns of use and the effectiveness of medications for this condition.
