PD Dr. Roman Hari, MHPE, is a primary care physician, educationalist and researcher. He has been head of education at the Institute of Primary Health Care (BIHAM) at the University of Bern since July 2016, where he leads and supervises innovative teaching projects in various domains (clinical skills, ultrasound, assessment, clinical reasoning). He serves as chair of several university working groups and commissions for teaching. PD Dr. Hari also engages in clinical and educational research and evidence synthesis. He obtained a Master of Medical Education (MME/MHPE) degree at the University of Bern and is board-certified in General Internal Medicine. Besides his academic duties, he works as a primary care physician in a group practice in Burgdorf and as a consultant for general internal medicine at the Regionalspital Emmental in Burgdorf.
