Dr. Rebecca Tomaschek is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Primary Health Care (BIHAM) at the University of Bern. Her current research focuses on substance use, where she serves as a study manager for the Safer Cannabis – Research in Pharmacies randomized controlled trial (SCRIPT) and principal investigator for the study site in Lucerne.
She previously worked at the Center for Primary and Community Care in Lucerne, where her research focused on interprofessional collaboration in primary and community care. She completed her PhD (2023) and Master’s degree (2018) in Health Sciences with a focus on health services research at the University of Lucerne, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Social Sciences (2016) from Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. During her studies, she gained professional experience in rehabilitation management, the development of medical training programs, and public relations in the healthcare sector.
